Specific Details: This is a restored antique standing Buddha Statue from the 2nd Classic Period (1827-1893) in Northern Laos. The Buddha is depicted in the Abhaya "Fearlessness" mudra. This depiction of Buddha is unique to Luang Prabang in northern Laos and is referred to as the "walking" Buddha. This original hand carved sculpture is gold gilded on teak wood and was carved circa 1827-1893.
